Delivery Info
Most orders placed and paid before midday (Monday to Friday) are usually dispatched the same day, subject to stock availability and security checks. Orders placed after this time are usually processed the following working day.
Your delivery charge will automatically be displayed when you proceed to checkout, prior to you submitting and paying for your order. At the present time we are only able to ship orders within the United Kingdom and our delivery charges are fixed for all orders as follows:
UK Mainland Standard Delivery £3.95 or Express Delivery £7.95
We offer FREE standard delivery on all orders over £50.00. If you upgrade to express delivery on an order value over £50.00 you will only be charged the difference between the standard delivery charge and the express delivery charge i.e. £4.00.
For the purposes of delivery by Gimme That Gift, UK Mainland does not include, but is not limited to, the following:
Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands & Islands, Isle of Man, Channel Islands, Scilly Isles, Isle of Wight or these postcodes FK17-22, G83, HS1-9, IV1-28, 33-39, 40-51 and 55-56, KA27, KA28, KW1-3, 5-14 and 15-17, PA20-48 and 60-78, PH18-26 and 30-44, ZE1-3.
For these areas we are able to offer a standard delivery service only, at the rate of £3.95, with FREE delivery on all orders over £50.00. We regret that at present we are not able to offer an express delivery service to these areas.
During busy holiday periods dispatch can occasionally take place 1 - 2 working days after your order is placed.
Payments made by cheque are subject to a 7 - 10 day waiting period, from the date we receive the cheque, to allow full clearance of funds prior to dispatch. Postal Orders are treated as cash and as such any orders paid for in this way will be dispatched within 1 - 2 working days of receipt of payment subject to the prevailing terms and conditions on this site. Bespoke, personalized or special order items may be subject to extended delivery times, details will be given on the item description page.
Orders delivered to UK Mainland addresses are dispatched by Royal Mail or a secure courier service. Please note these delivery times are quoted by the carrier and not by Gimme That Gift.
Gimme That Gift will make every effort to dispatch your order within the time stated, however we rely on courier services and Royal Mail for actual delivery and we cannot be held responsible for any delays caused by them, nor will we be liable for any loss or disappointment caused to you by late delivery.
Courier Delivery Orders sent using courier services require a signature and should arrive the next working day after dispatch. A maximum of 2 delivery attempts will be made by the courier after which time the package must be collected from your nearest depot within 5 days otherwise it will be returned to us.
Royal Mail Special Delivery Orders sent using Special Delivery require a signature and should arrive the next working day after dispatch.
Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded Orders sent using Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded Delivery require a signature and usually arrive the next day after dispatch, but please allow up to 5 working days for Royal Mail to deliver your order.
Please make sure that somebody is available to accept and sign for your parcel as requests to deliver to an alternative address may incur an additional charge from the carrier. From time to time we may at our sole discretion arrange delivery of your order by alternative methods, such as, but not limited to, Royal Mail 2nd Class Recorded or Standard Parcel for heavier items.
Your order will be delivered to the address you provide to us, therefore you must ensure that all details are full and correct, including postcode and house number. Gimme That Gift will not be held responsible for any lost, undelivered or returned parcels due to incorrect or incomplete details supplied by you. In the event that you fail to sign for, accept or collect your delivery and it is subsequently returned to us you will offered the option to:
1. Cancel your order and we will refund all monies paid by you less ALL expenses incurred by Gimme That Gift in attempting to deliver your order.
2. Request a re-delivery by reimbursing Gimme That Gift for any expense incurred due to the return of your order PLUS the actual cost of re-delivery.
Please make sure that you allow sufficient lead time when placing your order with us to prevent any loss or disappointment resulting from the delivery time as Gimme That Gift cannot be held responsible for this. We reserve the right to cancel your order and refund any monies paid by you without prior agreement being reached in advance with respect to the above terms. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
